China or Bust

It is 11:16pm on Tuesday, May 11th, and I have just finished packing my suitcase for China. The bathroom scale says it weighs 39 pounds, but that's with half of it hanging off and me holding it up for support. That probably means I'll end up paying the $25 for being over the 60 lb. limit that Delta has enforced. I wonder what's so magical about 60 pounds? Why not 50 or 75 pounds ? Regardless, Delta makes the rules, so I must follow them. Perhaps I'll get additional Skymiles for the $25 if I put it on my Skymiles Reward card...
